Zombie Dinosaurs, from Comic 238
Steve discovers on a trip to the late Cretaceous era in Comic 238 that the dinosaurs were really wiped out by a zombie plague. While escaping from them with Beaver, he uses his fossilisation ray to turn their bones to solid rock - but the effect wears off after around 65 million years, unleashing a plague of re-animated skeletons of zombified dinosaurs on the present in Comic 239.
