Apparently hoard left socks in depots accessible from people's dryers.

They prefer to be called 'vertebraecally challenged,' due to the offensiveness of the term 'Gelatinous Slime-Monsters.'

So far they've only appeared in Comic 150 through Comic 154.

One of them is named Grublarr.
