It is big! It is Pink! Although more like dark red! It is the Sky Octopus!!!
Not much is known about this gargantuan prehistoric cephalopod, except it was a key factor in the evolution of Steve's ancestors' detachable tail. Comic 144 is where it is first seen.
Note: The Sky-Octopus was the major predator over 10 million years ago, but this has gone unnoticed as their squishy bodies didn't leave fossils. Most forms of evolution have come to pass because of the Sky-Octopus. For example, the only reason most humans possess thumbs is because they were needed for Sky-Octopus eye gouging purposes. The Sky-Octopus should not be confused with the Sky-Squid which is, of course, a myth.
