The term SPLODGE is a portmanteau created by combining the words SPLASH and LODGE. It is the sound made when splodging one's self into a gelatinous 3-eyed alien.
For example, in Comic 152, Steve splodged himself into a Xarlaxian in a cunning SURPRISE ATTACK!
