After Steve died because of an unfortunate accident involving a [[flimsy anvil shelf]], he soon met Death. But aside from the initial element of surprise, Steve did not seem to be quite afraid of Death and treated him as anyone else.<br />
<br />
Not surprisingly, this eventually led Death to become quite frustrated, lose control and even break his silence, possibly for the first time ever. That, coupled with Steve's insolence, was the last drop and he finally decided to quit his stupid job and ditch his itchy robe.<br />
