Transcript

Panel 1

Beaver, Steve and the Shoe Goblin are walking in the dungeons; Beaver and Steve are both carrying torches.
Shoe Goblin: "Just a little further..."

Panel 2

All three arrive at a big golden door.
Shoe Goblin: "Legend has it that eons ago, my ancestors sealed behind these doors the greatest shoe ever cobbled..."
Beaver: "But why have you never opened it?"

Panel 3

The Shoe Goblin looks at Beaver with an insulted look.

Panel 4

The Shoe Goblin tries to reach for one of the door handles, but fails as they're too high.
Beaver: "Ok, good point..."

Panel 5

Beaver: (T-U-R-N-ing a handle) "Let me try..."

Panel 6

A side shot of the door that is now partially opened and light is shining through. All three peek through.
Beaver: "Oh my..."
Steve: "Coo!"
Shoe Goblin: "By the buckles!"

Panel 7

The Master Shoe is revealed inside.
Beaver: "She's... beautiful!"
Shoe Goblin: "The legends were true!"
Steve: "Hey look! A big shoe!"

• This strip quite possibly has the most detailed backgrounds ever seen in a BnS comic so far.
• In the sixth panel, Steve's tail extends over the panel border.
