Beaver: "Yes! How did you know?"
Steve looks at a caged shoe.
Shoe: "Help me!"

Shoe Goblin: "The shoes tell me! The laces be my eyes, the insoles be my ears, and the tongues be, well, they're my tongue."

Steve: "Tongues? Blech!"
Shoe Goblin: (giving the shoe to Steve) "Ye dare to mock me? Then hear for yourself!"

Steve: "Wait! I do hear something..."
Shoe Goblin is secretly talking into a walkie-talkie.
Voice from shoe: "You stink"
Steve: "Hey!"

Beaver: (pulling out another walkie-talkie from the shoe) "Hang on - this is just a walkie-talkie hidden in a shoe!"

Fun Facts

• Although the Shoe Goblin's "the shoes tell me!" trick is proven a hoax, he did somehow know that Beaver and Steve were looking for the greatest shoe ever made.
