Steve holds the butter that has evolved into a lifeform, on a plate. It makes a "UGGL.." onomatopoeia.

Beaver POKE!'s the butter.
Butter: "Ai! Cut that out!"
Beaver: "Oh, hey, it can talk."

Butter: "Yes, I have learned much since I came to be in the cold belly of the dairy drawer, but I yearn for adventure, I dream of passing beyond the great portal and experiencing all the delights that the world beyond has to offer, I will..."

- The butter coming to life may be a reference (or parody, more like it) to the commonly used gag of filth coming to life in webcomic culture. Examples are Fred the Slime mold from General Protection Fault, and Dust Puppy from User Friendly.
