Panel 1

Steve is cheering, while wearing a party hat and a noisemaker.
Steve: "Yay! It's my birthday!"

Panel 2

Beaver appears in order to correct Steve.
Beaver: "Steve, for the third time, it's not your birthday until next week!"
Steve: "Next week? But that's forever! Why can't it come sooner?"

Panel 3

Beaver walks off to the left while Steve looks cross, with wavy frustration lines wafting up.
Beaver: "I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait patiently like everybody else."
Steve: "Bah! Waiting patiently is for saps! If only there was some way to make time pass more quickly..."

Panel 4

Steve produces his "My First Black Hole Kit". The party hat is gone.
Steve: "Hmm... And maybe there is.."
