"Fin" style: Butterflies
Number of panels: 8
Steve: "Ew! There is something brown and crusty on my stick!"
Beaver: "That's a cocoon Steve. A caterpillar turns into one to become a butterfly."
Steve looks at his stick while the cocoon on it begins to CR-ACK.
A butterfly FLIT-A-FLITs away from the stick as Steve watches.
Steve strikes a thoughtful pose as a light bulb, representing an idea, appears above him.
Steve's Idea: "I am an idea!"
Steve begins to PUPATE!
Beaver TOKs on Steve's cocoon.
Steve emerges from the cocoon with a R-R-RIP!
Steve: "Look Beaver! I'm a butterfly!..."
Steve, now fully outside his cocoon, is a giant butterfly/bat/lizard/octopus/spider-type creature with tentacles and giant hairy appendages.
Steve: "...I'm BEAUTIFUL!"
- The process by which caterpillars turn into butterflies is referred to in the scientific community as metamorphosis.
- Steve is not, in fact, beautiful after the metamorphosis.
