The Snowman FLUMPs against two windows as Beaver and Steve SLAM the house door shut from the inside.

Beaver: "Phew! We made it!"
Steve: "But what do we do now?"
Beaver: "Don't worry Steve, we can just stay in here living off cold sprouts and Christmas cake until the snow melts in spring!"

Beaver: "Won't that be fun!"
Steve: "Is it too late to take my chances with the snowman?"
Beaver: "Don't worry Steve, we'll be quite safe in here"

Panel 2

Unseen Speaker (most probably Beaver): "After all, he's just a silly old Snowman, what harm can he do?"

Meanwhilst the Snowman SPROUTS and GROWS various snowy appendages and proceeds to WRITHE with them.

Panel 3

The wormlike Snowman CRASH!es through a window.

Snowman: "Oh what a lovely place you have here!
Beaver: "Yipe!"
Steve: "Don't worry Beaver, I have a plan! Fall back to the Christmas tree!"

Panel 4

Beaver: "OK Steve, what's the plan?"
Steve: "Actually 'Fall back to the Christmas tree' was pretty much my whole plan."
Beaver: "Oh."
Snowman: "Glaaa"
Beaver: "So this is how we meet our end: consumed by a giant mutant snowman with an eating disorder. I guess that fortune cookie was right."

Panel 5

The Snowman GLOM!s up all of Beaver, Steve and the Christmas tree.

Unseen Speaker: "Well this has to be our 3rd or 4th worst Christmas ever ..."

Fun Facts

It's interesting to notice that, even having read the fortune cookie that stated they were gonna perish in the hands of a wicked snowman, Beaver still wished his to come to life. Which once again proves the unmeasurable power of fate.
