Panel 1

Beaver: "Oh boy, I love stamps! They are like little gum-backed rectangles of happiness!"
Beaver TWEEZEs a stamp.

Panel 2

Beaver is EXAMINE!'ing a stamp with a magnifying glass while Steve LICK's another stamp.
Beaver: "Ah, the pride of my collection: the irreplaceable 'Penny Aubergine'! Just look at that detail. Luxuriant!"

Panel 3

Beaver's stamp bursts into flames with a FLOOMF! Steve GULP!'s; the stamp he had in his hand is gone.
Beaver: "Oh! My beautiful stamp! What's happening??"

Panel 4

The Sun, back on the shelf, is SHINE!'ing.
Sun: "Hee hee!"
Beaver: "Bah, it's that pesky sun, up to his usual tricks!"

Panel 5

Steve: "Don't worry Beaver, I'll get him down!"
Steve BROOM!'s the Sun.
Beaver: "Careful Steve, the sun is the source of all life on Earth..."
Steve: "Oh don't be such a worry-wart. It's all under control!"

Panel 6

The Sun falls with a THUDD!
Sun: "AKH!"
Steve: "Oop."

Panel 7

The Sun appears to be dead, flies are hovering over him and the room is darker.
Steve: "See Beaver, I told you those solar panels were a waste of money"
Beaver: "I'll go and fetch the night lights."

Fun Facts

• The postage stamps still need to be licked.
• Steve appears to swallow the stamp when Beaver's stamp catches on fire.
• When the sun dies, flies will circle around it almost immediately.
