Panel 1

[Suddenly!]
Machine: Left socks detected!
The back wall of the washing machine SHOOOK!'s open, two robotic arms come out and GRAB! the disguised and startled Beaver and Steve.
Beaver: "Goodness!"

Panel 2

[Left Sock Storage Depot 4]
Beaver and Steve get thrown into a big pile of socks with a FLOMP!
Beaver: "Yooof!"

Panel 3

Beaver and Steve DE-SOCK! themselves.
Beaver: "Look at this: it's all our left socks..."
Steve: "What is this place? D-do you think it was built by aliens?"

Panel 4

Beaver: "Don't be ridiculous Steve. Do you really think this place is going to be full of some sort of 3-eyed gelatinous slime-monsters?"
Two ominous black silhouettes approach Beaver and Steve, both looking not too much unlike some sort of 3-eyed gelatinous slime-monsters.

Panel 5

The monsters reveal themselves and seem to be holding red alien pistols.
Monster 1: "Actually, we prefer the term 'vertabrateally challenged'"
Monster 2: "'Slime-monster' is an offensive term only used by species that think they are better just because they have a complex digestive system."
Steve: "Ooh"
Monster 1: "But we don't allow them in here. All we allow in here is socks..."

Monster 1: (looking down on Beaver and Steve) "You are socks... ...aren't you?"
