Source of all life on earth, and a fair amount of mischief, in comics [[Comic 190|190]] and [[Comic 205|205]]. Looking directly at him is inadvisable as it encourages him in his childish antics.

A bookshelf in Beaver and Steve's house was a stage for this attention seeking ball of plasma until Steve [[BROOM]]ed him off, probably fatally. Suprisingly, for a body whose surface is millions of degrees in temperature, he makes a [[THUDD]] as it hits the ground, rather than a carpet burning [[FLOOMF]].

The sun isn't a big fan of stamps, but is a talented [[JUGGLE|juggler]].

The poor reception to the above from [[Beaver]] and [[Steve]] may have triggered a career move: In [[Comic 210]] he can be seen illuminating the world from his vantage point in the sky. This seems to be going well for him, as he remains there in [[Comic 212]].

Pandas

Pandas are generally regarded as an enemy of [[Steve]]. The first encounter with pandas was in [[Comic 24]], where it is immediately apparent that Steve has nothing but hatred for the panda in the zoo. As a matter of fact, it seems as though Steve has a vendetta against the panda.

The next encounter between the pandas and Steve occurs in [[Comic 38]], when the poison from a bee sting causes Steve to hallucinate that Beaver is a panda. A fight ensues. No pandas show up until Comics [[Comic 65|65]], [[Comic 66|66]], and [[Comic 67|67]] when the [[Shoe Goblin]]'s pet panda threatens the existence of Beaver and Steve.

In the "Star Trek"-parody of [[Comic 74]], "Beavock" and "Captain Steve" encounter the "Pandarians."

The largest encounter yet with pandas began with "Panda-monium - part 1" in [[Comic 113]] and ended with part 6 in [[Comic 119]]. The 'diplomacy' enacted by Steve was arguably the largest victory against pandas.

While their silhouettes appear to be similar, the Fun Elf carries a heart instead of a shoe, and its hat makes the [[LA|LA! LA!]] onomatopeia rather than the [[JING|Jing Jing]] of the Shoe Goblin. Also, the Fun Elf's intentions toward Stu seem to be less antagonistic than that of the Shoe Goblin toward Steve.
