Hey Beaver and Steve fans, I have two new books out!
Mameshiba on the Loose is the tale of the adventures of a group of beans with tiny dog faces - yes that's right, BEAN DOGS. Bean dogs that love trivia. The book is illustrated by Jorge Monlongo, with scripts by me.
Super Animal Adventure Squad is about the adventures of the world's most elite team of anthropomorphic secret agents, as they thwart evil scientists, battle pirates and eat lots of cake. It is released on the 6th of October 2011 and is completely drawn and written by me. All of it! There is also a facebook page for it here
If you like Beaver and Steve I am pretty sure you will find these books exceedingly enjoyable, so please check them out! (these links will take you to the amazon UK website, but they are also available from many other retailers and will hopefully be in shops too!)
Those more observant among you may notice that this strip isn't entirely finished. It turns out that while I was away on holiday last month, a small tear in the fabric of reality opened up under my bed, and it has been sucking in all my time (well, that and the fact that I went to see superman last night - which was about an hour longer than it needed to be). As a result I've not been spending long enough on my scripts or drawings, and I always end up still colouring at 2am. I can no longer remember this feeling I once called 'not being tired'. I'm going to attempt to seal the rift with a combination of cosmic threads and killing my social life, but I've a packed week ahead, so please bear with me.
Basically this was just a round about way of apologising for today's terrible punchline.
Anyway! Enough griping - now for news: LOVE news. Joe Dunn, creator of approximately 98.2% of all webcomics is getting married! Aw! While he is on his honeymoon he is having a guest week for his comic Joe Loves Crappy Movies, and I managed to scrape together enough time over the weekend to draw a strip for him. I'm not sure which day it will be going up, but you might as well check the comic every day, because every one is sure to be a cracker. Everybody wins!
